If you are a WJD client who is transitioning back into the residence which we have been managing for you, this service may be of interest. Since the tenant’s lease termination date may not necessarily coincide with the date you want to occupy the home, we have created this program to take care of your property in the interim. For example, the lease might terminate at the end of May but you are not going to be able to move back into the home until August. In an effort to prevent maintenance emergencies, vandalism or to simply keep up appearances with the neighborhood, you most likely do not want your home to appear abandoned. When you engage our Homewatch Service, all utilities will remain on, grounds will be maintained where appropriate and your property will be inspected twice every month until such time as you are ready to move back in. This service is also available to non-WJD clients who do not need our property management or leasing services but who do have a vacant residence which they would like maintained in this manner. We charge a flat rate of $200 per month to participate in this program.
